Friday, May 6th, will be a half-day of school for our current Beadle Middle School students. Current students will be dismissed from school at 10:45 a.m. so the 2016-17 sixth grade students can come to the Beadle Sneak Peek to tour the building and complete transition activities. Buses will run accordingly. Current students are asked to be picked up by 11:00 a.m. so we can prepare for the fifth grade students. Incoming fifth grade students will arrive at 12:00.

paper and pen Parents and guardians of fifth grade students that will be attending Beadle Middle School are invited to our Middle School Parent Transition Night on Thursday, May 5 at 7:00 p.m. This meeting is especially for those parents who have their oldest child moving to middle school as new sixth grade students. Information will be shared about Beadle, expectations, dress code, conferences, parking procedures, and assisting your child with the transition from elementary school to middle school. This meeting is for parents and guardians only.

8th Grade Honors Night

The 8th Grade Honors Night will be
Monday, May 17 at Millard West High School
 
All eighth grade students and their families are invited to the event. All students will be recognized for their academic and activity or athletic accomplishments. Everyone is invited for cookies will be served in the Commons following the ceremony. We ask that students wear dresses, skirts or dress pants for this occasion. No jeans, shorts, or t-shirts please.

Honors Night Information

In order to have an accurate record of the activities your child has participated in while at Beadle, please complete the checklist. One has been emailed or click here to download the document. Please return the signed form to the main office by Friday, March 25.

If you have already returned the form, and you can attend on the 17th, you do not need to do anything. If you returned the form, but cannot attend on May 17th, please email Pam Ferdig, pjferdig@mpsomaha.org or call at (402) 715-6100.

If you have not returned the green Honors Night form yet, we will send a new one home with your child this afternoon. Please complete the form and return it to our main office by Friday, March 25.

Box top for education clip art Beadle received over $1,460 through the General Mills "Box Tops for Education" program last school year.  Box Tops are collected in your student's Bulldog Block class and rewards are given several times a year based on the number of Box Tops turned in.  As a collection reminder students can print out the attached “Box Tops” bingo sheet or pick one up in the office.   Bingo Sheet
